Emerald Highlights 2015
2015 was a year where the club built on its successes of previous years and continued to grow and develop in all categories of Athletics. This culminated in the club receiving the Munster ‘Best Juvenile Track & Field club’ star award for 2015 as well as two athletes receiving Munster star awards – Ciara Neville (International Award) and Jamie Mitchell (Juvenile Track & Field Award).
There were also fine performances in middle to long distance as well as Javelin and Pole Vault. At the younger ages the club continues to grow and develop. Thanks to all the coaches, mentors and all who contribute to the successful running of the Emerald AC. Thank you also to all the parents who bring all the athletes to training and competitions week on week. Finally thanks to all the budding athletes without whom we would not have a club.
