Disappointment for Sarah in World Juniors
BARCELONA, Saturday 14th July 2012
A brilliant start and a great run for 80 meters ended in huge disappointment for Sarah Lavin in today’s semi-final of the World Junior Championships. Sarah clipped the second last hurdle while challenging for third place, and the resulting fall ended her brilliant championship. It was a shattering blow for Sarah who would possibly have qualified for tomorrow’s final based on her progress until the fall. She was well up in the race and was running really well.   Nevertheless, Sarah has once more demonstrated her true class on the highest possible stage, and there will be other days. Congratulations to her for this fantastic achievement.
